Recipe
For the cake
Use vanilla sponge mix or chiffon cake recipe
Recipe for custard filling
1) 100g instant custard
2) 150ml water
3) 100 g whipping cream
4) 1 tin fruit cocktail
Preparation of instant jelly solution
1) 400 ml water
2) 150g sugar
3) 10g instant jelly
Method
1) mix instant jelly with sugar first and then boil with water
Method for decorating the cake
1) slice the cake into 3 layer and sandwich with custard filling on a 9" round cake ring.
2) cover the top layer with some whipped cream and arrange some fruits on top.
3) keep in the refrigerator until cold and then pour hot instant jelly solution on top.
4) when set,take out the cake ring and decorate the sides with whipped cream and almond slice.
Note:
If preparing the custard filling is too troublesome then sandwich the cakes with blueberry or strawberry pie filling.
